Our Founder's Story

We’re led by Emma Glover, a social media specialist with more than a decade of digital marketing experience. She’s managed the accounts of Kellogg’s South Africa, Dulux, and Barclays Africa, and worked as the lead paid advertising strategist on multi-million dollar SaaS brands. Em founded Victress to shine the spotlight on what social can do, and as our Head of Social Media Strategy she’s the first person you’ll meet once you get in touch

We work with you

Victress isn’t like most social media agencies you’ll come across. For one thing, we’re much more interested in the impact we can make on our clients than on winning awards. My proudest moments are when one of our social media campaigns turns an entrepreneur’s side hustle into their day job, or when I see the relief on a client’s face after helping them reach a sky-high lead target.

What would you like to know?

What if I don’t want to commit to a retainer straight away?

That’s perfectly fine! Our one-off social media audits provide a quick health-check of where you are right now and offer some basic recommendations. We’ll never force you into any monthly contract, and will give you our honest opinion on whether that’s right for you.

We have an in-house marketing person, can you help them?

We certainly can. Many members of our team are accredited trainers, which means we can mentor or train your team or employee 1:1 or in groups. It’s a great way to get them up to speed, and gives them the skills they need to take care of your day-to-day social media strategy if you’d prefer to keep it in house.

Do you offer other digital marketing services?

Yes, we do. We work with some amazing digital marketing agency and consultancy partners and will match you with the right people for your goals (even if that’s not us!). We can assemble a team and manage the whole process, or make the introduction and leave you to it — whichever suits you.

Can we work together on an adhoc basis?

We can offer bespoke monthly consultancy services, which might include weekly, biweekly or monthly strategy sessions or training, but whether or not that’ll be helpful really depends on your needs. Em, our Head of Strategy, will help you work out a plan; book in a consultation for a free, no-obligation chat.

How much will I need to spend on social media advertising?

That’s hard to say! We handle monthly advertising budgets of anywhere between £100 and £100,000. How much you should spend depends completely on what you’re trying to achieve, your target audience, and what success looks like to you. We can do a lot with a little, so if you have a particular budget in mind we’ll do our best with what you have — and we’ll be honest about the results you can expect, too.

How do you measure success?

When we start working together, we’ll discuss what success looks like to you. After that we’ll assess performance through a monthly report, then follow up with a meeting to discuss how everyone feels about the results. We’re always learning, and we improve our social media strategies and campaigns based on data, not presumption. But we won’t wait until the end of the month to talk; your dedicated social media Account Manager will stay in touch to make sure you’re happy and that everything’s running smoothly.
